Namastey! I am Pukar Joshi.

I am currently a senior lecturer and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at Lalitpur Engineering College, Tribhuvan University. I have more than four and a half years of full-time experience in teaching and three years of part-time professional experience in structural analysis and design. In this span, I got an opportunity to teach more than a thousand students and design numerous residential and commercial buildings.

I completed master in Earthquake Engineering from Tribhuvan University securing the highest percentage in the university. I did my BE in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, Tribhuvan University.

Apart from my professional life, I watch football, play guitar, and hang out with family and friends. I love trekking, and going out for a short ride.

It is my pleasure to recommend someone like Pukar Joshi, who is a civil engineer with expertise in Earthquake Engineering. Er. Joshi was my student during his maters in earthquake engineering (IoE, Tribhuvan University, Nepal). Since then I am in constant touch with him. He was one of the finest students I have seen. He is very quick in understanding and making decisions. He tries to understand the matter from the basics so that he could apply and relate that in real practice. He was the Gold medalist, the topper of his batch in masters. He is sound not only in study but also in carrying out research work. He does have analytical skills and uses different commercial software used in earthquake and civil engineering profession. In addition to this, he was the monitor (Class Representative) of his batch. This shows his leadership qualities. Currently, he is the head of the department of Civil Engineering in a private engineering college affiliated with the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Mr. Joshi is a smart and intelligent person. He really knows how to handle the situation and negotiate and create a positive vibe in the atmosphere he works. He is one of the students who I still keep in touch with and discuss in academic and research activities. I wish him all the best in his both academic and professional career ahead.

Dr. Surendra Bahadur Tamrakar

Prof., Department of Civil Engineering, Kantipur Engineering College

Mr. Joshi and I have worked together in the same institution for two years. Our professional relationship finally turned out to be intimate as if we had known each other for ages. He is not only a dedicated and motivating mentor but also a good human with a kind heart and supportive nature. His presence as a co-worker encouraged me to give my best in my profession. I get really positive vibes from meeting and talking to him. He is loved among his friend's circle and equally loved by his students. I wish him all the best for his future career.

It has been a pleasure to work alongside Mr. Pukar Joshi on the same team for the past 2 years. What I am amazed about is his professionalism towards his work, his efficiency when it comes to pressure is unparalleled and he deals with sensibility even on the harshest of days. His diligence as a leader and his humbleness toward each and every staff are what keep the organization alive and vibrant.

I have known Pukar for a decade. We studied undergraduate programs together and have completed several academic projects together. To me, Pukar is an extremely passionate and determined individual but more than that he is a wonderful person inside with a caring heart. His kind personality will inspire you to be like him. He has grown on me to be more than friends and I personally take him as my mentor. He is one of the most loving people I know in my life and I wish him the best life has to offer for his future career success.
